Tampa, Fla. – (Oct. 5, 2011) -- The Tampa Bay Technology Forum (TBTF), Central Florida's largest and most influential technology association, announced today the finalists for its 8th Annual Industry Achievement Awards.This year's awards will recognize the leading organizations and individuals in Tampa Bay's technology community. Finalists were selected by a distinguished panel of judges and will be honored in front of hundreds at an exciting black-tie awards gala on November 4.
"The Awards Gala is always an exciting time because it is really the only event in Tampa Bay dedicated solely to celebrating our region's technology industry and honoring our best and brightest,” said Amy Norman, president and CEO of TBTF. "Our judges had their work cut out for them this year as we had a record number of impressive applicants. We look forward to celebrating with all of our honorees and the entire technology community next month.”
A total of 18 finalists were chosen in six award categories:
